1. It’s time for sth/（for sb）to do sth

It’s time for us to leave now. We have to get up early tomorrow.

It’s ten o’clock. It’s time for bed/to go to bed.

2. be late for …

Don’t be late for class/school.

You must hurry or you will be late for the meeting.

3. begin/start to do sth.

I began/started to learn English three years ago.

They were swimming in the river when it began to rain.

4. ask/want/tell/invite sb.（not）to do sth.

I want everyone to keep silent/quiet when we do our homework.

I don’t want everyone to know about it.

We invited our teachers to attend our party.

If you can’t work out this problem, you can ask someone to help you.

5. help sb. with sth /（to）do sth.

Let me help you with your English reading.

I’d like to help you（to）play computer games.

I help him to speak English and he helps me with my composition.

6. enjoy doing sth（finish/hate/be busy/keep on/go on/give up…）

Bill enjoys reading very much. He also enjoys playing golf and bridge.

Many of us finished writing a composition before class was over.
